starting issue

I have a 97 F150 with the 4.6 that doesn't like to start right away after not being driven for a day or so. The only way to get it started is push the gas pedal to the floor like it is flooded. Once it is started it runs and starts fine the rest of the day. I have put a fuel pressure tester on it and it doesn't loose too much pressure after its been shut off. Could an injector slow be leaking down or maybe a weak ignition?

I put a new IAC from Auto Zone, could it be that I might have got a defective one? Or maybe one that is not quite set right.

Did the problem change at all after you put in the new IAC? I would think that even if the new one is bad, the problem would be a little different.

It has acted the same way with the new one that the old one did. So putting a different one on didn't help any.
