ok so i just rebuilt my rear end and put it back under the truck...i have a weird problem with the driveshaft not going back in. its as if its to long but all my center pins are lined up, the yolk is set all the way and the slip yolk slides together all the way. the truck has a 4in superlift on it. also i have had the driveshaft out before with no problems of getting back in before. any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.
This is a dumb question, but is the rearend in the correct location on the springs? You stated the yoke is set correctly in the housing. How much space do you have between the housing and the collar?
jack stands where actually under the leaf springs...idk what it was but i decided to drop it back down then just put it right back up and the driveshaft went in. i guess it was just some of my bad luck cause i cant ever just get anything done the first time. runs nice and smooth now im happy with it again.
