The tunes I have in both trucks came from swamps, and both trucks have solid shifts. Depending on the setting determines how hard it shifts. If the road is damp, my 02 gets sideways real easy, even downshifting going up a hill with my foot on the throttle.
I think I narrowed it down to the actual Accumulator Body.
I had a modified one in there before the chip and the 2 to 3 shift was harsh because it was drilled out too much.
I swapped in a un-modified used one last week and now it's the 1-2 shift that's harsh so there's probably something sticking because it doesn't matter which tune I'm using.
My plan is to fix the hole on my modified one and put it back in because the shifts were awesome with it in there. Not too harsh but firmer than stock.

The guy I got them from lives 10 minutes from my house. I never heard of this site until I bought my 97. If I live 10 minutes away from one of the other folks, I'd be doing business with them. I've got swamps injectors in the 97 too. Shoot me twice!
Yes, I did the Coon version. Everything was great on it except that the hole for the 2-3 shift got egged out a little. I'm gonna fix that hole and then stick it back in later.
Anyone have a rather firm 1-2 shift with a automatic?
All my other shifts seem good but the 1 to 2 shift is a tad rough at heavy throttle. Although I can chirp 2nd now which is cool!
No more than I had with the Edge EVO, (actually a bit less) but then again Bill could have been the one who had designed the tunes I had on the EVO too (as he did work there a few years back)...
