Interior question

Does anyone know what kind of interiors are compatible im looking at a pillar guage pod for my truck but it says it fits 87-97. my truck is an 83. i thought most interiors of these trucks were basiclly the same till like 88 or 89. but ive been wrong before.

The interiors changed...
1980-1986
1987-1991
1992-1996/97

You can make the gauge pod fit with a little work, however you will have to drill new holes in the cab to mount it. the holes wont line up. If you have a headliner, you may need the other piece above the door as well, don't remember. Then it will look odd unless you replace the passenger side too.

Anything is possible, just required a little work, and depending on your skill etc...

I used a 97-91 "A" pillar cover in my 80 to uses a gauge pod. Just have to get a driver and passenger one for what ever you have, headliner or no headliner
