Reverse Problem - 2004 XLT FX4 4.6V8
Twice today when I tried to backup out of parking spot, my truck acted as if it were in neutral. It just revved without moving.
I switched it back to park and let it sit for a few seconds. Then when I put it back into reverse it backed up.
This has me totally freaking out considering that I can't afford a new transmission.
So, do you guys have any idea what the problem could be? Am I looking at something major like having to replace the trasnmission?
I've never had any problems with the tranny slipping before.
