What do you pay down there?? There is a Lordco in PG so I might check their price next time I am out that way..
with my military club discount we get barely any money off of fluids but it is like 30 cents a 4 liter jug. Comes out to about 15 dollars a 4 liter jug.
OK thanks, I am planning on pulling a fairly heavy trailer at some point with it, maybe will slap on an extra cooler..
it didnt matter what i did to my 93 broncos E4OD, i baied that damn thing and it still blew its *** off at 136,000. Torque converter nearly exploded itself. Couldnt believe it with only that many miles. They are definitely not known for any kind of strength. The c6 i have in my F350 is about as solid as an automatic can be. But then again i cant cruise at anything above 55.
Sounds like a decent price on the oil, thanks for that..also, once I figure out what I'll be hauling will have to look into a beefed up tranny I spose.
The guys I bought my truck from last summer claim the xmission had been recently replaced for what that was worth. I cleaned up the pcm connections (after the O/D lite started flashing on me and it wouldnt shift) and has seemed ok since. Needless to say.. I don't have a lot of faith in the thing, do you guys know what a person might pay to swap one out or have it rebuilt with most of the available upgrades - I spose the skies the limit..
ps - The shop I go to is actually a tranny rebuild place and he is pretty fast and reasonable shop rate of about 65 per hr. I am not equipped to do this myself.
