I have a 77 F-250 Super Cab with a 460. I am in the process of restoring my old friend and have hit a wall. I am unable to find a replacement instrument assembly housing....the one in the truck is crumbling around the bulb sockets due to age and I need to replace it. Any suggestions as to where I can find one? My wife has been searching online for me, but to no avail. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks.
JBG (Jeffs bronco graveyard) is one of the rudest vendors I have ever dealt with. At least the guy I talked to on the phone from there about a never ending backorder was. I'll never buy from them again.

I've made like 5 orders from them and even sent back my rear inner wheel houses when I decided I'm going to leave them out of my truck, they were great for me, even on returns.
I have a couple, go to the junkyard and get them out of old trucks. Sometimes they are in good shape, and you get the extra bulb sockets, guages, speedo's, and plastic cover. I see them all the time here in Washington.
These clusters are also used in Econolines, and at some point in the 1980's the formula for the plastic was switched and they stopped having this problem. Hopefully someone else can remember the year. The point is, later-model Econolines will have a cluster that won't crumble.
Blue Oval Truck Parts has them also. I believe it was early 80's Econoline vans that went to plastic. NumberDummy indicated the original cluster backs weren't plastic at all, but some kind of composite material.
I got my plastic cluster back from JBG. I have never had any problems on orders with JBG.
