Throttle positioning sensor problem?
When driving and maintaining speed it feels like the motor is "missing" not running smooth. It idles fine and accelerates very smoothly. I don't notice that it does this with the cruise control engaged. This only presents while on flat roads up to speed. As soon as the truck comes under load it runs smooth. It is a manual 6 speed with what appears to be a super chips green cover on the PCM above the E-brake pedal. Intake is Tymar and no other mods. The fuel filter has been changed with no change with this issue. The truck starts fine and there are no smoke issues. My only thought is the throttle positioning sensor, any other thoughts?
