So I have had my 2009 4x4 F-150 CC Lariat now for just over a month. Since I have owned the truck every time I am streaming music through wi-fi from my iPhone on the factory navigation, the quality is just **** poor. At times the music sounds like there is reception issues kind of like when you are listening to AM/FM radio, and about every 30 sec or so the music cuts out for a split sec like when a CD skips. Has anyone else expierenced this problem, and if so what was the fix? Thanks for all the help.
You should be using Bluetooth, not WiFi. I get excellent sound quality when I pair my Iphone 3GS. Did you upgrade your Sync? What happens when you connect your Iphone via USB?
I have only had the truck a month or so, so not to sure if all the updates are there. I just recently took it in becuase I had absolutley no audio what so ever and they fixed that with a reboot. They were also advised of this problem I am still having. Tuesday it goes back for service. I have never tried the USB port, with my iPhone. As for my phone it's the 3G.
My sound quality works great also on bluetooth, although it will be marginally better with the usb connection. I have an iPod classic that I leave connected to the USB2 slot in the glove box. The iPhone battery is bad enough IMO without streaming music via bluetooth.

Are you saying there is another USB slot in the glove box???
The dealer replaced my sync module and it didnt help, I am guessing it may be the iPhone. I am eligible for the upgrade, so I may be gettin the new 3GS
