Need help to help my buddy
Ive been trying to fix my buddys 2002 f350 4x4 5.4L Auto.Codes that came up 0300 and 0720.Multiple miss fires and output shaft speed sensor.The speedo bounces under accelleration,abs light flashes and the engine misses.Only under a load,up a hill or towing a boat ect.I replaced the output shaft speed sensor,and abs sensor, erased the codes and still the same problem.My next guess would be tps but no codes are coming up anymore.Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance, Ken

when all else fails google engine codes, you should find a link to ford truck codes. i'm guessing that if the speed sensor code went away and the issue is still there that it wasn't related. I'm wondering if it might be sparkplug related, how old are they and how many miles on them. thats my only guess after that you have to know what the code is for. good luck

Plugs on the way.He was told it had a recent tune up when he bought it 2 months ago.I found the rear tires are BALD... no tread at all.Maybe thats why the abs flashes and 0720 code came up.Its like going to smaller tires.New tires being mounted right now.Thanks for your reply.
