Casserly at Full Force Diesel can rebuild some stock injectors or up to mile Stage Is for around that price. I think the mild Stage Is are about a 100 more then what you were quoted, or atleast that's what I paid for mine. He is going to be the cheapest and his customer service is second to none...........
I will second this whole heartedly. You'll NEVER find ANYONE with better service than Ryan Casserly. PERIOD. He's always bent over backwards to take care of me and his product development continues to grow by leaps and bounds. You can find him at FullForceDiesel.com. Give him a call.
OK have an update that makes me lean even harder to injectors even though PFJ scanned and read all normal. This morning it was a muggy 36 degrees out, (I need to move further south LOL) I cranked the truck up and it smoked quit a bit and ran like dog crap for a good 10-15 seconds missing real hard. This is exactly what it did to me a few years ago in Maryland and they replaced 6 injectors. (2 had already been replaced a few months earlier.) I am going to take it to PFJ again since we are staying in the 30's for a low for a while and seeing if they can pick it up. I want to buy injectors while I have the cash. Since I have not worked in 2 months we are starting in on the savings LOL. Part of me is thinking go ahead and do them but I would like to make sure that is the problem before I dump 1500 bucks and a weekend of my time to do this. Feedback always appreciated. Thanks.
