I have spent the past couple days looking at all the old posts, and at google, but still can not fint the info I need, or at least that I can understand. Anyway I have a 2000 F250 that I will be installing upfitter switches into out of a 2005 F250. I know it can be done, but will take some extra work from me. I went to the scrap yard and seen a truck they were about to crush that had them and just had to have them. I even got the center dash part they mount in all for $15!!! Anyway I know they will not be plug and play, but I need to know what all the different color wires are, and what I need/dont need. The plug that goes in the rear of the upfitter switches has 7 little wires, and then we have 10 wires coming out of the upfitter relay box. I know the 4 different orange ones are for the switches, but that sill leaves me with 6 wires out of the relay box I dont know what to do with, not to mention the pin layout of the upfitter switch plug and its 7 wires. I am needing to know what all these wires are so I can hook them up correct. I did find the Ford SVE Bulletin with the wire layout, but I dont understand wires that well to read it. If anyone can tell me what color wires do and control what it would make my week go much better. Thanks
subscribed. I am doing the same thing. Somewhere there is a thread here that has ford part #'s for doing this. I am missing the relays and wireharness.
