i'm slowly getting this site figured out. think i got some info on here. and of course an avatar. 52 merc, i showed your pic and he really liked it. he says he wants some white flames to go with the blue.

By the way, I too picked up a 55 to make my 53 more complete (dont ask)... your 55 sounds remarkably like mine in a way though mine is in far worse shape I am sure! But you said yours had diamond plate running boards, mine does too, I had never seen any before and they look like they are made very well, just not my style so they will have to go, like yours. My truck also came with a visor and from what I am gathering on here, visors on these trucks are pretty rare. That leads me to my question, your bed.... is it a long bed or short bed? If you have a longbed (three stake pockets instead of two and a eight foot deep measurement) I am going to get wierded out!
Anyway, welcome to the forum and its great that your are getting your boy out from in front of the xbox or playstation!
