Bumper Swap
I was coming home the other day and I got beside this 90 something ford. Nice truck and as I was admiring it I noticed the nice shiny chrome wrap around front bumper.OOOOOHHHHH My wheels began to turn.Will this work? I don't know! Will it? Can you swap bumpers between a 90 something and a 76? Is the width the same? I don't see why not. I know it would take some fab but hey...Thats my bag baby....... what do you guys think? will it work and have you seen it done?

Sure, anything is possible. I'm not sure how it will look though. The '92 has a round front, we have flat fronts (I've considered and dismissed it, I have a parts '92 sitting in the back). Hell, it's worth a try though, just post pics! Other ideas: maybe something like flipping a pre-'78 bumper upside down? Still not sure how that would turn out either. I have considered shaving the front bumper too. I like the look of the bumper guards on a '78 bumper w/'73 grill, but your drop prohibits it. I think the drop may keep you from using the '90 bumper too. Ed White has made a popular dent-side art concept with what appears to be an s-10 front bumper. I like the way he did the grill. It made me consider using a '78 front on my hot rod I've been planning.
