tailgate reflector help

tailgate reflector help

well the red tailgate reflector finally came loose. i remove the aluminum piece and popped off the grey plastic piece under the red reflector. i put some silver ac tape across the section, to cover the holes in the aluminum and give some reflection, but im not sure what is the best way to reattach the red reflector, i thought about some permatix clear weather adhesive. has any one here re-applied there reflector and what did you use. then again i guess i could buy some chrome screws and re-attach it.

My reflector came loose and like you i decided to yse screws in it i bought some stainless ones the mistake i made was using only 6 i would recomend using 8 because when it gets warm it will want to buckle
