well with a 94 you can currently run 33's stock. you just need to put some stacked washer on your front bumper bolts so the bumper moves out a bit. the problem with a body lift is yes you gain room for larger tires. but your still running on the stock suspension which SUCKS and would limit you big time. also BL are ugly and do require some fab skills to lengthen your 4wd shifter, tranny shifter linkage, lower your fan shroud etc..
do the washer trick to run 33's and save up for a real lift kit. also be warned that Gears will need to follow if you want your engine/tranny to not fail early. the e4od runs about 1800-3200 for replacement depending on the shop.
Ditto to everything Kem already mentioned. The gearing issue is critical. Take it from someone who ran 33's and 3.55 gears in a 92 with an E4OD automatic... your passing and hill climbing power will SUCK! Not to mention the E4OD will "hunt" gears a lot more causing the premature failure that Kem mentioned.
listen to both of those.
their right.
dont even bother with a bodylift... its a crying waste of time and money. also real offroaders will cry laughing at it.
i do. i laugh my *** of at ppl with bl's
no offense btw.
just get a susp lift. much much better off,
well i guess its a good thing i didnt buy one yet i will do the washer trick on the bumper, thanks for the info. i will probably only run 32's but maybe about12" wide i go in the sand most and need a wider tire.
