Got most of the rest of the parts. The parts guy is a idiot. He doesn't know how to order the right parts. Well anyways started to put the raditor together and found 2 more broke part. A plastic water line that comes out of the water pump behind the egr cooler and the master cylinder is cracked and leaking. So I can't put the radiator in until I get that. So I put the inter cooler tubes on, lower grill bumper brackets, headlights and grill.

Well couldn't work on under hood stuff tonight so I had to work in the cab. I had to take the seats out to get to the airbag derm. That is the computer for the airbag. So while I had the middle jump seat out I fixed it because the guy seating in the passenger seat bent the hell out of it. I also replace both front seat belts because when the airbags go off the seat belts do to.

Got the radiator and a couple coolers in tonight. Got the air bags all painted and put in but the light won't go out. Broke the trans cooler trying to straighten it and found some more broken plastic hoses. So I got to get a new trans cooler , AC condensor and the broken line for the fuel cooler.

My dad has a Snap On scanner that we can read the codes. As for painting the air bags we do it all the the time if we can't find the right color. Never had a problem with scratching. I saved $400 dollars versus by new because I couldn't find the right color.

It looks good from the pics, damn fine job. Im curious though, do you have a tally on the cost to put Humpty Dumpty back together this far? Sounds like its been getting a little pricey... I saw a clean 2008 Lariat with the 6.4 and comp mileage for around $36K a few months ago, I guess I just want to know if you feel like the work and cost you have encountered is worth it.
I only ask because I have considered doing this myself in the past but decided that it might not be cost effective to do it after everything had been restored. I know every car/situation is different, but for me to consider it seriously I would have to see someone else succeed at it and know how they did.
