I'd go to the wrecking yard and get Ford replacements as they are bountiful.
The taillights are the same:
1974 F100/350 from serial number T00,001 / 1975-1979 F100/350.
1978/79 Bronco (U150).
1975/91 E100/350.
The Econolines have a rubber gasket around them which just peels off, as it's not glued on. Otherwise, it's the same tail lamp.
D5UZ13404A .. Right Tail Lamp / Available from Ford

The early ones work in a late bed if you swap the wiring harness and the housings. I just made my own harness and used the early housings, worked great.
Yes, just peel the rubber off as Numberdummy suggests.
The only reason why the econoline had the gasket is because it needed to be watertight as the hole for the taillamps goes to the interior.
The pickup doesn't require to be watertight in the bed.
If you are talking about the 1973-early 1974 before serial T00001 specific housings, they can be swapped into later trucks if the rear wiring harness is changed or its rewired for them as stated.
The later plastic taillamp lens/housing will work in the 1973-early 74 as well if the later truck lamp sockets are transplanted onto the existing harness.
Care to tell us where you got those so someone else dosn't make the same mistake?
I was wondering the same. I was also wondering how much you paid for them. After seeing the price of the Ford ones it seems like they couldn't have been any cheaper than that. I'm probalby just going to go ahead and buy new ones from Ford just so they look as good as they possibly can.

I have to check on this, I don't want to say the wrong company. I looked at and bought parts from diff. companys. Someone actually bought them for me and I can't remember if it was NPD, or LMC, I also got parts from BOTP. All I know is they are not made by ford and they don't fit that well. I will say this I am very frustrated with LMC right now trying to buy 76 grill parts their customer service wasn't that great, the ladie on the phone didn't know anything about the truck. BOTP was great though and had all the parts I needed.
Thanks, I am all about spreading the word on the good, the bad and the ugly. I recently replaced the bumper guard rubbers on my dent. They came from Dennis Carpenter, and I was VERY pleased with the look, fit and fabrication was spot on!!
Now don't confuse these with the horizontal bumper pads, there were the guards that mount to the push brackets that bolt to the bumper.
Also, I believe they came from classicfordparts.com, but I replaced the grills as the original one had a crack and was glued, which was not to bad, but the PO also used pink bondo trying to glue it back together.
Also, I had some over spray, and blew old gas out from the tank end and it splattered the grills and really made them look bad.
Anyhow, the grill insets were very nice quality, not show quality, but nice new fresh daily driver nice, I was pleased with them.
another word to the wise, when replacing the rear window seal don't skimp and buy the cheap one, it will work and go in, but it wont fit right.
, well I guess I hijacked enough, just some observations.
