I a looking for a set of tires to use this winter for plowing and in the snow, they will be going on a set of 16x6 steel rims. I was looking a 255/85r16 will these fit on the 6" rim or do I need to go with the 235/85r16? thanks

 

235/85/16's fit a factory 16x6 wheel best, 235/85/16 = 31.7 diameter 9.3 section width, 255/85/16 = 33.1 diameter 10.0 section width, though the latter will work as well.
