Idiot Light
when under hard acceloration my battery idiot light comes on. The alt was replaced last winter and both batteries are new.
I have a tuner, exhaust, and a TON of other upgrades but i dont see why they would pull power under hard accel. Snow Plowing season is approaching FAST and i want to make sure its right before i find myself stranded somewhere..
Any help is appreciated.

the light just barley flickers on... THat sounds like a good diagnosis. Is there a way to prevent the belt from slipping, I would be more than willing to try it. The belt is around a year old.

The tensioner may be getting weak. If you go to a new belt and that doesn't solve it then I would try a new tensioner unless you want to do them both at the same time to save on your labor. I would then save the old parts for emergency situations. Since you have an 04, it very likely could be the tensioner.
