4WD driveshaft lengths

I'm trying to figure out the driveshaft lengths on a stock F250/F350 with 4wd. I swapping from 2wd to 4wd, and need to get at least the rear driveshaft figured out before swapping the tranny out and adding the transfer case. Its my daily driver (and currently only driver...), so I can't swap first and measure what I'll need.

Specs would be for a '88 7.3L IDI, 5spd ZF tranny and BW transfer case. reg cab, long bed (133" wb?) Does anyone know, or can measure their driveshafts (front and rear)?? Any thoughts on what other tranny/engines/whatever driveshafts would fit?

Right now I have the two piece rear driveshaft with a carrier bearing, is the 4wd a piece (no carrier bearing?) or two piece?

Also, whats a good price for a used driveshaft? Theres a guy that says he has the two I need for $100 each, but I'd really like a measurement to be sure...

Is the driveshaft the same for an F250 (ttb front axle) and an F350 (Dana 60 solid front axle). I swapped in a Dana 60 this summer, in anticipation of the tranny swap, but don't know if the front driveshafts would be the same or not between the two setups??

Thanks!

I am in the the process of swapping my transmission from a c6 4x4 to the zf 4x4, so I have the driveshafts laying there. I will try to remember to measure them, I need to anyway to make sure they are the same or which one I need to use. My truck is a regular cab 8ft bed. And no, neither one has a carrier bearing setup.

I have a funny feeling the "official" f350 front driveshaft for the dana 60 is different. The reason I say this is they used a double u-joint on the f350's, and just a regular u-joint on the f250's with ttb. But people have used their old ttb driveshaft when swapping to the dana 60, so you might be ok getting one of those.

I should have also added the transfer case that works with these driveshafts has the slip yoke on the output, not the stationary output.

When I pulled the 44 out from under mine and installed the 60, same front drive shaft bolted right up.

But I do have a 1345 transfer case behind a 4 speed.

My rear shaft bolts to the transfer case and rear axle, slip joint in the shaft.
Regular cab 4x4 on a 133 wheel base frame should be a single shaft, no carrier bearing.

my trucks got a 91 350 chassis and when the t case went i could only find a 1345 to replace it, came out of a 86 idi. o and i mean ithats all i could afford at the time i found a couple of the right t cases but this one was $100 bucks. i switched the front and rear shafts out of the same 86, because of the different style slip joints, i had to switch the yoke on the rear axle also. then they bolted up and worked fine. front was a direct bolt up to the d60.
