odd engine noise
My '98 Ranger (w/ 4.0 OHV engine) makes a wierd noise, ONLY when the engine is started while cold, or during acceleration. During acceleration the noise kicks in around 1500 rpm's. Some people said it may be the valve train, but I'm not sure. Any ideas will help.
