ok so im having a hard time finding any performance parts for a EFI 302, no intake manifolds, no intakes, ect, besides headers. can anybody help, also wiring harness caill i get a new wiring harness for my 86 f250?

look up mustang parts.. that is the easy way to locate your performance end of the 302.. but as far as intakes.. im not sure if the mustang intake would work properly on a truck... i bet some of the other guys could tell you a bit more about that end..

Painless makes wiring harnesses for everything. It wont be cheap though. You could just go with a universal one. Summit or Jegs will have lots of 302 efi parts and the wiring harnesses.

The 5.0 truck intake is actually pretty good. K&N, TFS and Summit make a cold air intake for these trucks with a 5.0. Where these trucks lack is in the cam, head and exhaust department. You are limited in cam selection with fuel injection but could go with a stock HO mustang cam with 1.7 rockers and it would be a great all round performer to 5000 rpm. There are lots of heads to choose from now - all the way from GT40/GT40P to infinity. I think an awesome exhaust would be Headman elites, Hooker mandrel bent 2.25 exhaust kit, Magnaflow tandem X pipe with either 3 chamber Flowmasters or old school Spintech mufflers
