I have a chance to acquire a 1988 F250, standard cab, long box, 4x4 with an IDI. the truck hasn't ran in a few years. The truck has the following on it....
1) CTS turbo
2) 5 speed manual transmission
3) Non ball joint D60 in the front
4) great interior
5) lift springs (i do not if 2', 4' etc)

The truck is currently complete (other than missed match tires and wheels). I'm under the impression that with good batteries and fuel, that it is a runner and driver.
If I get this truck, my plan is to part it out. What I want to know is what interest is there for any and all parts? Body parts, drivetrain parts, etc. I would be willing to sell the truck complete a well.

I agree that they are great trucks. My truck is an 1988 F350 Crewcab, longbox, 4x4, 7.3 IDI, E4OD. I have performed the alternator upgrade (now 140 amps) and have installed a hydro boost from a 1988 F450. I have a rebuilt Banks Sidewinder turbo and inter cooler I plan on installing this winter.
I normally would not part out a complete truck. Unfortunately I know this truck is worth more parted out than left together. Nobody wants a standard cab anymore and I do not need this truck. Nor to put money into it.
I traded for it and for me to get the value of what I traded, it needs to donate to keep other trucks alive.
The bed is rusted out around the wheel wells. Not sure if i saw a tail gate for it. No batteries, the mismatched tires and wheels. Mirrors are missing off the doors. It just not worth it.
To prove my point, looks as if I have already sold all the big parts.
