Aftermarket Tachometer Question
Hi All,
Looking at a Stewart Warner electrical Hall Effect tachometer. Says it has 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 ratios. With my 1987 6.9L NA E350 WHERE does it mount and what ratio do I need? Thanks for any and all help!

Welcome to FTE and the IDI diesel forum.
I think those will have a sensor that will mount by the harmonic balancer and have a small magnet that sticks on the balancer or pulley.
The stock setup counts the teeth on the IP drive gear which works out to something like 40 to 1 if I remember right.
