Short throw shifter, water methanol maybe, maybe a turbo upgrade. Are you looking to spend some more money on her or just tinker around with so cheaper "fun to do" upgrades?

97powersmoke, Injector Drive Module (IDM), there is a mod for it by replaceing a little resistor. You take one out and solder another one in its place. It takes the stock IDM, which fires the injectors at 110 volts and increases it to 140 volts. Firing hotter leaves the injectors open a hair longer and atomizes the fuel better. There is a lot of write-ups on it complete with pictures, someone will come along and provide a link. As far as the electric fuel, the newer SD's have a electric pump instead of our mechical pump. I bought a kit and installed it, works great. Doing so you also elimenate all that junk in your valley, the filter will then be under the truck. You are heading in the right direction it looks like!

You need to Fluid Film it! Any drain or plug holes (inside doors, etc.), battery terminals, undercoating, hinges, locks, etc...

If you don't know what I'm talking about, just PM me your contact info and I'll send you out a free sample.

Fluid Film rocks! It outlasts all competitive products, won't harm paint, plastic or synthetic rubber, won't freeze, and is non-toxic and non-hazardous.

Just a friendly note from a sponsor. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
