which intake?
Guys I have recently come into the possession of both a streetmaster 400 and a performer 400 intake. I have a edelbrock 1406 to go on top of either. the motor is basically stock. new straight up timing with a mild cam. its in a 79 supercab 4x4 with C-6, 4:10's and 35inch tires. its used as a general go to the dump and home depot with some camping and hunting thrown in truck. since i have both intakes which one do you recommend. I haven't been able to find anything about the streetmaster except that the were first produced in 1974 as a fuel economy helper.

I would run the performer the streetmaster is more of an economy intake and the newer design of the performer will offer pretty much the same economy with better performance.
