I know this post may get flagged or moved but I need to talk to the 73-79 guys. I'm having a super hard time finding an Edelbrock Streetmaster351/400 single plane intake manifold. I really need one for my current build. Does anybody have any leads on whereabouts?
Well the 400 I'm building will have a FiTech 600 power adder fuel injection system. My engine builder friend who installs and tunes these systems, as well as being a Ford guy, says for what I'm doing the single plane would work better. I'm turboing a built 400m lol

I would just use the weiand action plus. The 351m/400 has no good single plane intakes. Weiand is the best choice unless Tim Myer has released his new prototype.
btw it's a 400 not a 400m, no such thing as a 400 modified.
Don't know all the details of your build but price motor sports makes adapters to run a 351 Cleveland intake. Not a cheap proposition but a victor intake, trick flow or Parker funnel web would be much better

I would argue it depends on what the application is. There's no one intake that does everything a person wants (both high and low end) when comparing intakes.
Since the 351M and 400 are generally low-end torque monsters, I would assume that O.P. wants more out of their motor through the same revs limits as a stock intake.
Weiand I've heard is a great intake, if you can get your hands on an older one - the newer ones have casting issues.
Or you can always just go down the beaten path with an Edelbrock performer. Either are good choices.
