96 f250 starting problems
just installed a fresh rebuilt e4od, i hooked all the connections up, put the starter back on, hooked all the connections on it up. it wont start with the key, the solenoid on the fender thumps as it should but nothing happens at the starter. i ran a wire and hooked it to the solenoid on the starter and hit the battery with the other end and she fired right up. im thinking maybe my range sensor(new name for neutral safety switch) is bad.it sat out in the weather on the tranny for a while before i got the truck. oh and another thing, the off light is flashing on the gear shifter, i pressed the button and it still flashes. any ideas?
