Electrical issues
I have a lot of weird electrical stuff going on with my 91 F350 7.3 idi. It started out with the ignition getting jammed and stuck in the on position. I had to use it for a day til I got new ignition. While I was driving it, there was a loud pop from behind my radio and then about a half cab full of smoke. I replaced the ignition today and now the glow plugs will click on when you turn the key but the check engine light and battery light wont come on and then when you turn it to start it it doesn't do anything. When it was running, the gauges were going everywhere and the speedo was inconsistent. Just wanted to see if maybe there was some things I could check to get started on tracking down the problem. Thanks guys!
*As a sidenote I am not opposed to lose as much oem wiring as possible. That doesnt seem easy to do but if anyone has any ideas on that.
