just put the add-a-leafs in the rear of the truck, got it about 2" higher in the back, its a little bit stiffer ride but its better that way! and maxed out the torsion bars in the front, which gave it about 3" in the front, and the truck sits pretty level! which i am happy about... now the 33"s look small so im gonna save up a bit and buy some 35"s not sure what i want yet, might stick with bfg at's or try some nitto or toyo's since i can get a deal on those..

Most of the guys running BFG AT's are happy with the traction but the wear is too quick. There are a few around here with Toyo AT's and they wear better. A tire I like the looks of is the new Goodyear Duratrac.
I have Toyo MT's on mine and they wear great, but the traction when the temp is close to freezing is crappy in snow -- all MT's are like that though!
Dont go with BFG's my 35's had horrible wear. Barely 40,000km on $1800 worth of tires, not worth it.
Check out ProComps they have a 40,000MILE warrenty on the MTs and 50,000MILE on the ATs, for the same money!
They are what I am going for next!
I'm a Cooper fan myself. I had a set of Discoverer STT's a while ago, they wore nicely (for a mud tire) weren't too noisy, were awesome in the mud, and were easy to balance.
I haven't tried to many different tires, but I did really like my cooper discoverer STT's I had them on the back of the PSD for the last winter and the did real well.
sell me your old bfg's then john!!
i dunno i've only had the truck a couple of months now and the bfg's were already on, so not sure how they wear... might stick with them through the winter and decide after... nooo idea tho...
ya pro comps seem to be pretty long lasting tires... i've got 35" xterrain tires on my 79 4x4, thought they would be really soft tires since they are hardcore mud tires but i've done numerous burnouts and they are still holding up... haha!
