Nah, she'll never find it.
(FTE) She'll come out to the shop and catch me installing something.. and not even notice, kiss me and run back into the house. I'm like.. 
that was close... All joking aside.. I don't hide ALL of it from her.. I just keep a few PMS secrets..
And that old gal in the back is my buddys early 99 .. somebody offered him 8k today for it and he's thinking of selling it to get a standard cab , six speed.. I keep tellin him to keep her. Who knows....

Black bumpers, I agree. I've been eyeing O8 bumpers painted black, along with 08 mirrors, king ranch seats, 08 tailgate , the list never stops!

thats a good idear.. I have almost pulled over beat up work truck 08's to see how much they take to swap out mirrors. Maybe I'm just stipid but I love those things!

Find a worktruck in your area with bumpers in good shape & just swap them out. You might even get the guy/girl to give you a couple bucks, but you won't have to sandblast to get to a good surface for painting. Both my bumpers were originally grey worktruck bumpers. Now theys all purdy....

ha me?? no sorry, I meant just while we were driving.. just do the old "honk and pull over" trick. And get the goods... although I must admit the LEO's go pretty easy on my truck vs. civics and ricers. they are getting pulled over all around me going slower than I am?? I guess they just respect PSD's.
