Snow Fest Planning thread!

Just an FYI to all.
With this event. we dont have to "hang" as a group. The only thing I really plan for as a group here is "eating"
We can split up, or whatever else. If people want to take the kids to do the kids stuff, or go look at sculptures, check out shops, go shopping, what not.
We walked around town and ended up in the big warming tent to watch fireworks from inside last year.

Room is booked. Karen won't be going, we are splitting up. I'll be up, hopefully the weather will cooperate with that (pray for no snow that day/night). I think I should be able to have it covered anyway.

Case you're wondering. Comfort Inn @ Birch Run. $99 per night for a 2 queen room. They have a hot tub.

If the wife doesn't have to work that weekend I might be interested. This would be the first michigan meet that I attend.
I may have to fix the rear u joint before heading out that far from home with the two munchkins.
I have been up to Frankenmuth a few times for car shows and there was a Holiday Inn also there. It has been a few years, but does anyone know if the Holiday Inn is still there, and if it is located near the Comfort Inn that was mentioned.
