hot damn, and i was worried my little 300 was going out due to low oil pressure.... here i am 20,000 miles later and the damn thing wont die!

My guess he/she has moved on.


I would like to see proof it had 600K on it.

I don't think anyone can prove something like that, considering the odometers on our trucks reset to *zeroes* after every 99,999 miles.

Some people that have come through here over the years have been full of *****, but 81-F-150-Explorer wasn't one of those. If he said it, I believe him. He gave lots of great advice on this forum over the years.

My 84 bronco with a 300 in it has 524k miles anyone got me beat?

on any ford, but especially the 300 , if you tear the lower end down always replace rod bolts.
UPS used this engine for decades. i am cuious if anyone in that organization, kept track of the billions of miles logged with the 300 six
