dirty truck
need some advice,was given a 78 f-150 4x4 been settin for about 6yrs.the dirt and grime is awful,live in oregon so u know the weather.question is,,,what can i spray on the body to loosen up the dirt and grime to clean it up.any help would be great...

Depends on what type of dirt and grime you are talking about. I would first start off with a dishwashing soap (non abrasive) like Dawn and warm water. Use a semi stiff brush (similar to what car washes have) Spray 9 works good on dirt and grime as well. But I would do a test spot maybe in the bed first to make sure it doesnt affect the paint. Spray 9 can soften some paints in preperation to be painted over. Bug and tar remover is also a great product, especially if there is any tree sap on it.
