I have a 92 ranger, 2.3, 2 wheel drive
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for the bracket that holds the top of the coil spring in place?

 

My buddy's rotted out and we replaced them about a year ago. The only place I could find was the local dealer, they were about 90bucks a side. We found a couple in the local junk yards but they were too rusty to mess with. Here are the oe numbers from the receipt. His was a 91 2wd model. My local parts guy says that the oe numbers below are for all 2wd models from 1986-1992

They are no longer available from the dealer and I am haveing a hard time finding them elswhere.
I did hear the right side can be found but not the left which is the 1 I need
I do have a small lead but the price just doesnt add up and I am currently waiting to see a picture of the part

 

Check another dealer, I had the same problem, went to the Ford Dealer in my town and for 3 month waited for them to get the part finally was told they couldn't get the part that it wasn't being made anymore. Went to another ford Dealer and had the part in my hand the next day. The part number dorman68 posted should be the right part number that was the one on my invoice and I replaced the right side on a 92 Ranger.
