48 COE Wrecker

not my truck and I've never seen it, but when I came across this I figured it might peak some interest here, so here's the link.

this one is fairly close to me, so if anyone here is bidding and wants me to take a look I would love an excuse to go see it close up.

Josh

ya I suppose I could swap a 51/52 cab onto it easy enough!
but seriously that does look like a nice truck, the pictures dont look like such great quality though, so it would be nice to see it up close.

I need a little bit more sq footage so I can really start adding to my collection, and besides if I have a wrecker truck there's no end to what I could start dragging home!

A real truck enthusiast would buy the truck now and worry about space later.

You call yourself a truck enthusiast, I'd be ashamed if I were you! Go out and get it! You know you want it. You need it, you deserve it!

Once you get it we'll have to help you work "swap a 51/52 cab" idea out of your head. I know once you get it you'll come to the realization that the "Monkey Face" is a lot nicer design than the "Manure Spreader" grill.

First off I love that truck and would love mine to look like that.
I would love to know if you can share the bed dimensions and others specs.
I emailed you.
Hopefully you see this message or my email.
Thanks
Seth

Interesting how one random thread post can bring a newcomer in to post pictures of a similar ride, sounds like "monteblazerguy" is not new to old trucks but it does not appear he's been back here much?

I agree that the Wrecker is pretty neat.
I wish I had saved pictures of that ebay ad from 2 years ago, oh well.

Also looking back at the responses here I can see where I got the idea that having half a dozen big trucks (projects) at any given time is an acceptable and "normal" truck owner behavior!!!!
Thanks to the Positive reinforcement BobJ49f2 has given me, and other's

Also had someone tell me just yesterday when talking about big tires/wheels found for sale for these trucks that the price was decent for a "Normal Guy" ( I thought they were too expensive) and I was going to let the guy sit on the tires a while and see if the price came down...

Well Burst my bubble! I though I was a normal guy ?? Thanks Stu jk At least thats what Bobj led me to believe.... hahaha

anyway, to keep this on topic here is a picture I know nothing about other than it was taken in Twin Falls? Id. Anyone seen this truck?? I scanned this from a bunch of photos I recieved with the 53 C-600.
