Air Dog 2 in Excursion Install Q's
Has anyone here installed the AD2 in their Excursion. If so here are my questions.
1) Was the supplied 1/2" ID push lock hose enough or did you require more?? I think I am about 2-3ft short, enough for a Super Duty not enough for the Ex.
2) How did you route the 1/2" fuel supply hose from the top of the tank?? Was the supplied 90degree fitting necessary??
3) How did you orient the air/vapor return line fitting that got spliced into the filler neck?? Up, down, forward and where did you route that hose.
Gonna drop the tank again tommorrow, good practice
, to reroute the fuel supply hose that ended up in a bad place due to my eagerness to get done. Also going to relook the orientation of the air/vapor fitting and line routing.
Did the harpoon mod while I was in there, relatively easy.
