sometimes the cost to a repair so it is perfect or like it rolled off the assembly line is cost prohibitive. repairing your vehicle is a little bit of the yin and yang philosophy . just do it the best you can at a cost effective way.
pawpaw you are full of good info. that is a nice parts website i never saw that one before. that is a good price for a motorcraft cable set............
PawPaw, you are full of good ideas,
Rockauto has it too, but they call out the dash to engine strap a little better, this is not the battery cable assembly that I'm talking about,
maybe you should run out to your 99 Ranger and look at the cable that you would be buying to replace the cable clamp. Then the 100 cost will be more clear. And the suggestion to buy the cable assembly instead of a 6 dollar clamp would be dropped by a sane person.
Oh, maybe you call a cable assembly different than I do. I'm talking about the positive battery cable.
The complexities of ordering parts online becomes apparent. Several (14) items similarly labled, same picture, different price all saying that they fit a 2001 Ranger with a 4.0L. Must be a bad site.
That is funny just oder the one for $13 lol.A lot of these websites are off a little with images and things. has anyone ordered anything from that website?
