It is about half way between Abilene, and Fort Worth. 20 miles south of the I-20 on hiway 6
Just joined in living well in Frankston, Texas------just south of Tyler. And a pround owner of a 1981 F150 short bed step side waiting to be restored and running again.
Ya got room in here for a Hot Rodder from the '60s...I'm in Elmendorf, 17 miles south of San Antonio. currently I'm working on a 52 F1, still trying to decide on a motor. The wife is working on a 70 F100 with a hole in the piston (6 cyl). If anyone has ideas, Email me. My Email is in my profile. Oh, by the way...found a cheap junkyard: Nicks on Roosevelt Ave just a few blocks south of I-410....any incomplete engine-$103...any auto trans-$89....steering columns, from the wheel to the rag connector-$39. Good hunting...
Sorry for the mis-information folks...Correction:
Roosevelt Auto on Roosevelt Ave just south of the I-410 loop is the correct name, for cheap parts.
Nicks on Roosevelt Ave, across the street is is a great place to get older cars and trucks...They've got a 53 F2, 58 T-Bird, 49, 55 and 56 Ford cars, and if you ask nice he might let you take a peek at the 32 English panel truck he's working on.
