He's in British Columbia, Canada, even for you that's a tick to trek.
429, that's "STYLESIDE", Fleetside is a GM designation, just thought you'd like to know.

the truck has a good tailgate and a chrome grill, it does not have the front suspension in it right now but is available ,it was put on a 57 long box which is in pretty ruff shape. I think there was a motor in it I'll have to recheck when I get the pic's,will need some new metal but how many shortboxes do you see of the Mercury

If by some small chance you ever come across a Hood for a '58 M-100, would you be so kind as to grab it for me & I'll reimburse you for it.

Other than badges, how are the two makes different?

My buddy Rusty just got done redoing the 57/58 hood he pulled off a donor truck we hauled home a few months ago. Like you say, the hood looked pretty good until he got it blasted and found all the pin hole rust areas. He had to pull the whole thing apart and weld in new metal. It was a p.i.t.a., but turned out good. Stu

This aren't any Holes to Fill-In for the FORD Shield Badge on the MERCURY hood.
W/o a proper template, you ever have to drill holes that align correctly so that it spells MERCURY out across the front of the hood evenly?
