dimming headlights/dash lights

Occasionally my headlights and gauges go dim momentarily. Sometimes it is while truck is moving, or while sitting stationary.

I can't figure this out.

Any tips on what the possible cause.

New alternator and regulator, and good charge voltage.

sorry, just had this done.

I'm guessing bad grounding somewhere, or bad contacts? But why would the headlights and dash lights dim at the exact same time?

yep it might be the ground my buddy had a jeep Cherokee and that kept happing to him so we checked the ground and that was the problem
