Welcome to FTE. Here is the link to BTS
Brians Truck Shop

The price is around 4K IIRC but it you have to remember that Brian builds a bullet proof transmission and his warranty is for life.

BTS, John Woods, and Suncoast are some long time favorites for quite a few folks on this forum. Can't really go wrong with any of them.

40K miles so far on my BTS and still going strong.

john call bts up and see if there is anyone in your area that is a dealer. i live in utah and always thought i was screwed in the shipping part but turns out that Wide Open Performance is about 10 min. from my house and they are a dealer for them...... i was a happy camper when i found that out.

Are you in Colorado near ATS? Just wondering.. I know Great White & Great White II use ATS trannies, but the owner working for ATS might have something to do with that... When I "need" (or really do need!) a new transmission I'll very likely go with a BTS since I'll (at some point) be moving back to CO and Rockin' S Performance is 1) a GREAT shop and 2) is a BTS dealer. Too many sled pulling trucks out there with a BTS in 'em to doubt their strength, and the customer service stories you hear... TOP NOTCH is all you ever hear.

Rocky is an awesome guy.

His 79 Fummins "Southern Cumferdt" has been running really strong this year in competition. It's been fun watching him.

I don't know for sure, but I heard that ATS will not warranty their trans if you put go fast mods on your truck. What is the warranty you have with your trans? I have no doubt that the trans is good, I will be concerned about the warranty when I need a trans.

they(ATS) have a five year 500,000 warranty. Its in writing and to my knowledge and the way a lawyer and a court full of legal heads would read it you could put a train locomotive ahead of this tranny and if it were to break(which I doubt it would) ATS would have to stand behind it. Ask Brian at ATS and he can explain the warranty and what nots.
