I buy Crafstman cause I can't afford $400 a week payments to SnapOn like when I was working. You must have a select supplier of Kobalt. The function and finish looks like it was the first thing made in china. If I ever want to get rid of a tool Kobalt is the one. I'll give it to someone I don't like.
Kobalt and Craftsman are made by the same company.
Kobalt is the higher end over craftsman also.

If you haven't tried and live in the US, just PM me for a sample can.
I am friends with a fluid film distributor here in michigan, and use the product constantly. I plan on having some for future meetups for the group actually.

How come Kobalt has a finish like rejected SnapOn tools?
Get that line on Fluid Film. I get tired of clogs with wet snow. The dry snow goes 20ft. now so I should get to throw it in the street then?
Private message me to order fluid film. I'll get you his number. he will ship it to your door.
All the kobalt stuff I look at is good.
My tool box is 10x better then any craftsman toolbox.
But then I don't care much for new crafstman tools.
The old stuff is nice.
you just really can't beat the quality of most of the snap-on blue-point stuff.
Matco doesn't seem as nice IMO.
The stuff at home depot has good warrenty and looks better.
as for kobalt stuff. I'll admit, not all of it is really nice, but their sockets and wrenches are quite decent looking.
I dont like any of their bits for drills, or their drills. They break to easy, or are just cheep.
Little bit of this, little bit of that, and you have a good box of tools. ya know? craftsman's quality isn't what it used to be.
Wrenches are cheep, sockets break.
overpriced now as well.
I reach for my 30 year old snapon 3/8's ratchet before anything else in the box.
They got some nice swivel ones at harbor freight though, good kit.
Lots of teeth on them as well.
but the new craftsman are nothing compared to the old wrenches and sockets I have.

The old stuff is nice. My craftsman toolboxes are fine. I've looked at both and would buy another craftsman. The mistake I made was not buying a SnapOn one.

The stuff at home depot has good warrenty and looks better. SnapOn is A1 but if your job requires them that's the price you pay.

I reach for my 30 year old snapon 3/8's ratchet before anything else in the box. I go for my SnapOn first if I have it but then I'll work with whatever else is there. Fortunately I bought metric as I ran into a lot during engine testng.

Lots of teeth on them as well. If u shop there u can find some good stuff. I have several of their air tools.

Ooooh weeee! got enough snow here in Roseville to warrant firing up the snow blower until it ran out of gas lol got it done though HA! >>> plans for tomorrow... get more gas
I wound up doing 5 drives and 6 approaches. I felt sorry for the little kid down the street that came and asked me for help. I wonder if he will make it to 63 like me?
