No. The motor will start even if one entire bank (4 injectors) are dead. Perhaps if you gave us a little more information as to what problems you're having we could be more helpful.

ok great well im gettein code P0306 which is as u no misfire #6 cyl which i belive is the cause of the white smoke im getting when i take off . and the second thing is if i dont plug the van in at night it wont start .iv had a diagnoses done and to different places told me the plugs are fine and iv relaced both wire looms for the injectors /gp. oh and once in a while iLL get code 1211. im stumped
