I speak mostly Bonus Built and know that isn't part of one of them, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say that that is a firewall for a '53-'56 and that looks like about the right location for the wiper motor from pictures that I've seen.

Well, it is a 56 and it is the firewall so it must be for the wiper motor.
I guess I will cut it out of the old one and weld the section into the new one.
It's hard to believe how much tweeking/rework these replacement panels need, I don't think there has been a bend around the edges that I haven't had to work on. OH well, it's still better than scratch building each one.

If it were me I wouldn't bother with cutting out the old section...once the motor is mounted you will never see that opening. The only reason that it is oval-shaped is to allow the wiper motor arm to pass through, at best you could trim up the opening to make it match. I would make a template of the mounting bolt holes off your original firewall and drill the new panels to match then weld anchor nuts behind the panel.
Yes, there is a rather large plate that extends between the three mounting points that will easily cover the opening. Here is a pic of the firewall, sorry that the truck is black and a little hard to see the detail but the chrome wiper motor and mounting flange can be seen fairly well.
Thanks Charlie, I see what you're saying, I know I have the wiper motor in one of the boxes I got when I bought the truck. I guess I will dig it out to take a look. I will also do like you said and make up a template for the mounting holes. I need to do that for a couple of other items that are mounted on the firewall and front pillers also, like the Radiator support rod brackets and the fender support brackets.
