Rear bench seat bracket

I'm trying to find a new bracket for the rear seat. We have 3 girls and the front driver mount is gone. I need the brackets that attach to the floor and the part that bolts to the bottom of the seat. Any one know if i can order these items?? Thanks for any incite!

I haven't seen these for sale that I can remember, but I imagine you could easily find them in any junkyard.

hey Shane! long time no talk too! i am really sorry to hear your '78 drowned, that was a shame, i feel for ya and it brings a tear to my eye to see one of these trucks destroyed, hopefully you can find another 73-79 F-series or maybe a 78-79 Bronco? also what is happening to the old 78? some parts where still savable

also i would try the Ford dealership, maybe Bill (NumberDummy) can help you out, but i would assume you can still order those brackets,

that sucks to hear that money is tight, that's always when stuff (could use another word, but moderators wouldn't like it!) happens, and i guess we're living the life of a older guy, i mean now you got a family now, so money will be even tighter, what i am trying to say, is we want something a guy who is 40-50 years old would want (no offense to older folks) but generally people have more money when there older, and no family to worry about budget wise, thus most guys restore a truck when there 40-50 years old, not when there in our young age bracket,

thus someday when money is better, who knows, you might find one ya really like, and then you will go full circle back to a dentside!

but for now you can keep a open eye, a dentside might just be around the corner looking for a new owner!

as for me, i will be even more careful with my truck, and i would bawl my head off, if anything ever happened to my truck, and i don't plan on selling it ever! not even for the world!

also this is going even further off topic, but what exactly happened? you started it under the hood? and it started in gear? i thought you have a C6? or did it by pass the Neutral safety switch? or maybe a faulty switch? or ???

i was never clear what exactly happened, also did ya have insurance on it? or did they void it?? also too bad the tow truck had to be used, so they impound the truck till the tow is payed for? that sucks, if i lived closer and had my truck on the road, i would have given ya tow any day, not sure what my 302w could muster, but i would give her a try!

so good luck with your girlfriends Bronco, and best of luck on finding a new set of wheels,

also on a after thought, too bad you didn't have the NP-205 in Neutral, then the truck would have gone no wear, if i ever have to start my truck from under the hood, i will be finding a level surface and putting the transfer case into Neutral, then there is no risk if it popped out of Park
