Headlight Issue, please help

Both of my headlights go off at the same time. The truck will run for about 5 minutes and then they both go off and then come back on after a second or 2. It does not happen as much in the cold, in the summer it happens very quickly but this morning was cooler outside and I made it all the way to work and they did not go off at all. I thought I would replace the relay-fuse, but they told me there wasn’t one when I went the parts store. They said there was only the switch, fuse, wires, and headlights. So I ordered the switch.

I once had that problem and replacing the dimmer switch on the floor cured it. Good luck to ya

I would think it's one of the switches or you have a loose connection somewhere.

What he said. This is a common problemo.

When activating the dimmer switch (it's on the floor below the parking brake control), if both headlamps lamps go out...it's time for a new dimmer switch.
