Yet another... Exhaust question

Hello all

Well the break in 1000 miles is over with and the truck is running good. I had shorty headers on the truck for the break-in period and am working on installing my long tubes.

I am planning on redoing the whole exhaust from the headers back with no cats. Would a 2.5in system be good enough for a 351w with about 300horse? Or should I step that up to a 3in system. I will probably be using a cherrybomb extreme as a muffler because they sound pretty decent to me. I had a super 44 on with no cat and full 3in system with stock motor and it was way too quiet. Any input on any other mufflers that will be loud but sound good will be appreciated.

A dual 2.5" system will be enough. If its single go 3".

Consider a Cherry Bomb Vortex, they will flow better than Extreme(fact) and sound a lot better(opinion.)
