Does anyone know where I can find a list of factory options for 1986 F250.

Thanks in advance

Try purchasing a sales brochure from ebay. That will give the most accurate listing, the various paint and trim levels, and would be overall cool to have if you're planning on doing a restoration.

...been meaning to get on myself...

Thumbs up

Musky1011, thanks for the post; rep points to you! If you get a chance post the whole doc in your gallery, I'm curious about the Trailer Towing/Camper Package.

Here's a question about original factory equipment. How did one go about getting the under-hood tool box that can be seen in some of the pics in the "show what's under your hood thread? Anyone, anyone?

Someone on these forums did a write up on how they installed one into their truck that didn't originally have it.

Just food for thought - if you are looking for one, bring a cordless drill. There is a plate riveted to the fender to mount it to and the rivets need to be drilled out/chiseled off to get the plate off. I had to make 2 trips to the yard since I was unaware and had not read anywhere about it.

Sometimes this is true but not always. Unfortunately, I don't remember which
plates are riveted and which are bolted, e.g. is the donor a Bronco or a truck.

The bolts are 10mm, though.

Another thing... There is a supporting bracket that extends to the front radiator support, you
should get that, too. Make note (and also take) if the donor has large (1/2" or so) washers
between the box and washer fluid reservoir; some do, others don't. This is another case
where it depends if the donor is a Bronco or truck.

I did not know that - mine was from a Bronco.
